Snohomish Presbyterian Church partnering with villagers from San Ramon Grande to accomplish a stove installation project in their village.

 

The village of San Ramon Grande is one of the over 250 villages in extreme poverty in Barillas. San Ramon Grande was founded in 1903. The owner of the land started to sell parcels to families, and the village started taking shape. A person called “Ramon” came to the area and helped the village through various works, so in honor of this generous individual, they named their new village “San Ramon”.
